Kirta Heine has been Senior Government Adviser at the Legal Aid and Enforcement Unit, Department of Judicial Administration, Ministry of Justice of Finland since 2016. Ms. Heine is responsible for the preconditions for the operation of the state legal aid offices and in charge of developing their activities. Other important responsibilities include tasks relating to the Finnish Bar Association and The Consumer Dispute Board. Before that she worked in the position of a Senior Officer for Legal Affairs at the Legal Aid and Enforcement Unit, Department of Judicial Administration, Ministry of Justice from 2000. Ms. Heine also worked as a Notary at the District Court of Rauma in 1994-1995, Inspector of Occupational Safety and Health District of Turku and Pori in 1996, a District Registrar of Register Office of Rauma in 1997-2000 and a Project Manager at the Ministry of the Interior in 1999. She holds Master degree of Laws from University of Turku, Finland, Master of Laws with court training from District Court of Rauma, Finland and LL.M. from University of Kiel, Germany.
