Olena Sinchuk has been working at the Coordination Centre for Legal Aid Provision (Legal Aid Ukraine) since its creation in 2012, currently leading the Access to Legal Aid Division that ensures an equal and unobstructed access to the legal aid services for all eligible parties. Mrs. Sinchuk started her career in the Kyiv Public Prosecutor’s Office in 1992, eventually moving to the Prosecutor General’s Office in Ukraine and to the Kyiv Economic Court, where she worked until 2002. From 1998 to 2008, Mrs. Sinchuk held several posts in the Centre for Legal Reform (Coordination Centre’s predecessor), drafting prioritized legal acts, composing analytical publications and legal papers, and dealing with international technical assistance projects. In 2008 Mrs. Sinchuk moved to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, where she has been working in the Department for Justice and Anti-corruption Policy until 2010, when she returned to the Centre for Legal Reform. She holds a degree in law from the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University (Kyiv, 2005).
